Purchasing problems

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, but only within 3 days from the purchase, by forwarding a specific request to the //venice>connected helpdesk, filling in a form on the Help page. This operation does not require extra charges. Bear in mind that requests forwarded later than 3 days from the moment of purchase cannot be accepted.

How come I never received the confirmation e-mail after paying online?

You may have inserted an incorrect e-mail address in the personal data registration form, or your electronic mailbox is full, or your antivirus might be blocking the e-mail attachments or maybe the payment of your transaction has not been accepted yet, or our e-mail may have ended among the spam. In the latter case we advise you to check the spam folder of your mailbox system. In all other cases we advise you to write an e-mail to the //venice>connected helpdesk using the form you will find in the Contact us section.

When I arrive on the payment page a session expired error message appears, what do I do?

A dialogue error between your computer and our bank's secure server has occurred. Try clicking on the Refresh button on your browser, i.e. the internet navigator. If the problem persists we advise you to close all the windows on your browser and try making the purchase again from the beginning, by connecting to the www.veniceconnected.com website

When I access the payment page a message appears saying that the security certificate has expired: how come?

This problem occurs with more obsolete browsers, in particular with the old versions of Internet Explorer; it is caused by the fact that your browser does not have the updated VeriSign protection certificate. You can continue purchasing without diminishing in any way your transaction’s security level.

When I click on the “proceed with payment” button an error page appears and I cannot proceed with my purchase, what do I have to do?

This problem occurs with more obsolete browsers, in particular with the old versions of Internet Explorer; it is caused by the fact that the browser does not support communications with a very high security level, such as that required for proceeding with a payment on www.veniceconnected.com.

The safety level is measured in bits: the higher the bit number, the higher security is. //venice>connected requires at least 128 bits to be supported, while the older versions of Internet Explorer in general support a maximum of 40 bits.

You can check your Internet Explorer by following these simple steps:

I’m not sure that the payment for the services I booked was successful, what can I do?

Write to the //venice>connected helpdesk opening a ticket. Indicate your PNR and the e-mail address you inserted in the //venice>connected system when you made your purchase.

My credit card is not being accepted, what can I do?

The accepted credit cards are the ones that belong to the Visa – even Visa Electron and prepaid cards – Mastercard and Maestro circuits with 16 digits or more. If you have used a credit card with these characteristics, the payment may have been refused for technical problems, so we advise you to try again later or to try using another card. For further information you can contact the assistance service of our bank: at this address you can find useful reference, or you can write an email directly to the following email address: assistenza_ecommerce@sella.it

Are prepaid cards accepted?

Yes, they are, if they belong to the Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro circuits.

Which credit cards can I use?

The //venice>connected payment system, provided by Banca Stella, allows payments only with credit cards of the following circuits: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro.

I booked services on //venice>connected, but I didn’t receive the confirmation e-mail with the PNR, how can I recover it?

Contact the //venice>connected helpdesk using the online ticketing service and indicate the e-mail address you inserted in the personal data form at the moment of the attempted purchase. If you have written it down, also specify your PNR.
