When I click on the “proceed with payment” button an error page appears and I cannot proceed with my purchase, what do I have to do?

This problem occurs with more obsolete browsers, in particular with the old versions of Internet Explorer; it is caused by the fact that the browser does not support communications with a very high security level, such as that required for proceeding with a payment on www.veniceconnected.com.

The safety level is measured in bits: the higher the bit number, the higher security is. //venice>connected requires at least 128 bits to be supported, while the older versions of Internet Explorer in general support a maximum of 40 bits.

You can check your Internet Explorer by following these simple steps:

  1. at the top of this screen you will find various menu items: File, Edit, View, etc…click on the last item, which is usually called ? or Help;
  2. on the menu that appears. click on the last item at the bottom;
  3. in the window that opens, more or less in the centre, the browser version and encryption level (expressed in bits) are indicated
