The tickets referring to the category “Culture” sold through Venice Connected include two types of pass for Venice's civic museums: the Museum Pass and the Museums of St. Mark's Square.

Type of ticket

Museum Pass

(6-month validity)

Admits one visitor to each of the following museums:
  • Doge's Palace;
  • Correr Museum;
  • National Archaeological Museum;
  • Grand Chambers of the Marciana National Library;
  • Ca'Rezzonico, Museum of Eighteenth Century Venice;
  • Carlo Goldoni's House;
  • Mocenigo Palace Museum and the Centre of Studies on the History of Textiles and Costumes;
  • Ca' Pesaro - International Gallery of Modern Art and the Oriental Art Museum;
  • Glass-working Museum at Murano;
  • Lace Museum at Burano *;
(* Closed until spring 2010 for renovation)
 

Museums of St. Mark's Square

(3-month validity)

Admits one visitor to the four on St.Mark's Square:
  • Doge's Palace;
  • Correr Museum;
  • National Archaeological Museum;
  • Grand Chambers of the Marciana National Library;

Notes:

In the high season (1 April - 1 November) a ticket to the Museums of St. Mark's Square becomes Plus  and gives admission to one of the following civic museums at the visitor's choice:
  • Ca'Rezzonico, Museum of Eighteenth Century Venice;
  • Carlo Goldoni’s House;
  • Mocenigo Palace Museum and the Centre of Studies on the History of Textiles and Costumes;
  • Ca' Pesaro - International Gallery of Modern Art and the Oriental Art Museum;
  • Glass-working Museum at Murano;
  • Lace Museum at Burano *;
 

Museums of St. Mark's Square – Afternoon visiting
(only valid for the afternoon of the day of issue)

Admits one visitor for an afternoon visit to the four museums indicated in the Museums of St. Mark's Square ticket.
 
Afternoon admission hours:
  • From 2 November to 31 March: 1 pm - 4 pm;
  • From 1 March to 1 September: 3 pm - 6 pm

How to gain admission

Before admission to Venice's civic museums visitors must display their purchase certificate (with the PNR number and the bar code(s)) issued by //venice>connected, at the ticket desk, using the priority aisle.

Reductions

Regardless of nationality, reductions are offered for:
  • Children from 6 to 14 years of age;
  • Students under 25 years of age*
  • Persons over 65 years of age.
  • Holders of Rolling Venice Card
  • Personnel of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities*;
  • FAI (Italian Environment Fund) members. 
(*) a document must be displayed

Free entry

  • Children aged 5 or under;
  • Disabled persons and their companions;
  • I.C.O.M. members
