Local Public Transport
Description
The tickets sold through Venice Connected offer unlimited use of public transport, by sea or by road, for their duration.
Types of ticket
Six types of ticket are available:
- 12 hours;
- 24 hours;
- 36 hours;
- 48 hours;
- 72 hours;
- 7 days
The ticket becomes valid when the PNR for travel entitlement is converted at a Venice Connected Point.
Transport includes the Actv lines:
- navigation in and to Venice, the Lido of Venice, Murano, Burano and Torcello, Punta Sabbioni;
- transport by road in Mestre and the Lido di Venezia up until Pellestrina.
- The connection to the Marco Polo Airport is also included (without any surcharge) with bus n. 5.
The following routes are excluded:
- connections with Chioggia, Jesolo, and other places outside the municipal territory;
- connection from and to Treviso Airport (Ryanair flights) served by Atvo lines;
- the use of the ferry boat linking Venice/Tronchetto with the Lido of Venice
How to obtain the tickets
A customer holding a PNR number, attesting to the purchase of the service in question, must collect the tickets for the services from one of the Venice Connected Points.
Reductions
The following reductions are available on the public transport service:
- Children aged 0 - 3 years travel free (with effect from September 1st, also children aged 4 - 5 travel free of charge);
- Children aged 4 - 14: no reductions available, adult rates apply (with effect from September 1st, children aged 4 - 5 travel free of charge, children aged 6 - 14 pay adult fares);
- Young people aged 14-29: a Rolling Venice Card is available from the Hellovenezia site.
