Transport

Venice, Mestre and the islands

Time-based Tourist Travel Cards purchased on-line through //venice>connected are the best solution for getting around Venice and the islands - Burano, Murano and Torcello - and the adjacent mainland, using the services of ACTV, Venice’s public transport company.

These can be used on all means of transport of the navigation lines and on the land lines covered by urban bus services within the Municipality of Venice including the urban transport lines of Mestre (tramline included) and the Lido bus service.

Transport to and from Venice airport

Located 12 km over land and 10 km over water from Venice, Marco Polo airport is well connected to the city by public transportation lines (water and land).

You can get to Venice from Marco Polo airport either by sea or by land. Marco Polo airport is connected by land to Venice main island (Piazzale Roma, the bus terminal) by the ACTV lines; by sea to Murano, Lido and Venice main island by the Alilaguna lines.

Cruise Port transfers
