Santa Croce degli Armeni Church

Taking Calle degli Armeni you will come up to an 18th century underpass, we find the Church of S.Croce degli Armeni, where the weekly Mass is said by the Mekhitarist Fathers of the Island of San Lazzaro degli Armeni. The 15th century church is incorporated into the residential community historically occupied by the Armenians. Inside, preceded by a small vestibule, the church has a square layout with a central dome, a presbytery and two altars decorated in inlaid marbles, richly coloured stuccoes and paintings of the events in the life of St. Gregory the Great.
